Conference Information
The International Conference on Physics of Optical Materials and Devices (ICOM) brings together scientists and technology users who investigate or develop materials for optical applications. The conference presents the state of the art in preparation methods, optical characterization and usage of optical materials and devices in various photonic fields.
Date and Venue
The conference will be held from 3rd ro 6th of September, 2012, at the Ilija M. Kolarac Foundation, Belgrade, Serbia.
Information for Participants
The official Conference language is English.
The Conference is organized in a workshop style, composed of several Plenary sessions, which will comprise lectures by the leaders in the field, Oral and Poster presentations. The total times allocated for presentations are 30 min for Plenary lectures and 15 min for Oral presentations.
Social program includes Welcome party and Conference dinner.
Conference Fees
Conference fee for Early Bird and Regular registration includes participation in the Conference, conference material, book of abstracts, welcome party, coffee breaks, and conference dinner. Accompanying persons are invited to all social events.

Publications and Proceedings
All accepted abstracts of registered participants will be published in the Conference proceedings. All participants are invited to submit 5 page papers for publication in Physica Scripta.The authors of the 25 selected papers will be invited to submit the extended versions of their papers for publication in Optical Materials. All submitted manuscripts will be subject of the regular peer review procedures of the journal.
